Yinglee

Yinglee known as Thidarat Srijumpol (ธิดารัตน์ ศรีจุมพล) came from Na Pho, the Buriram Province in east Thailand. Her first album was banned by the Thai Ministry of Culture for immorality. After her contract expired, she returned to her hometown and started a Mor Lam band; traditional song originating in Laos and Isan. Over time, Mor Lam has become highly sexualized but still consist of lyrics that reflect the rural lifestyle, cultural traits, and social patterns in Thailand.
