Morning Pages are 3 pages of stream-of-consciousness writing everyday. Artist Way is a time for reflection by doing something special everyday.


Week 1


Do not fear mistakes; there are none Miles Davis

  1. If you had five (5) other lives to lead, what would they be?
  2. What do you value above all else? Make a list of the five things for which you are most grateful.

Week 2


Make your recovery the first priority in your life. Robin Norwood

  1. List your five (5) major activities
  2. How often are you doing them?
  3. List five (5) other things you’d like to do for yourself
  4. Choose one and make it happen this week

Week 3

Week 4

Week 6

Week 7

  3. Take yourself into a sacred space: church, library, park, etc

Week 10


Faith requires that we relinquish control.

  1. Make a quick list of things you love
  2. What habit do you have that gets in the way of your creativity?
  3. Make three nice promises to yourself and complete them in 3 week

Week 11


Desire, ask, believe, receive. Stella Mann

  1. Buy a notebook. Number pages 1-7 with these categories: health, leisure, relationships, creativity, career, love, and spirituality. With little practicality, list five wishes in each area
  2. List five (5) ways you plan to nurture yourself next year

Week 12


Adventures don’t begin until you get into the forest. Mickey Hart

  1. What would you most like to create?
  2. What oddball paths would you dare try?
  3. What appearances are you willing to shed to pursue your dream?
